Our Story
The idea of starting a distillery came to us back in 2014 after some experiments with a home still. A trip to Tasmania made us realise we could do this on a slightly larger scale.
After years of working evenings and weekends, we started production in August 2019 with two modest stills creating the drinks we love. We’ve developed gins, vodka, rums, and liqueurs, constantly experimenting with new ingredients and combining flavours to create the next generation of drinks. Premium Spirits - Crafted with Passion.
At Banks & Solander, we’re all about quality, community, and sustainability. We source the finest ingredients, carefully distil each batch, and pour our hearts into every bottle. Our cellar door is open on Saturdays, and we love chatting with everyone who drops by. Plus, we’re pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry mates along!
